With the blessing of Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol, the first literary and musical salon after the summer break in the cathedral hall of the Belgorod Metropolis took place on September 25, and its theme was Pushkin’s line about autumn: “The charm of the eyes.” Paintings from the personal collection of Bishop John Welcoming the guests, the head of the Belgorod Metropolis, Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol, said that he would like, thanks to art, poetry and music, that evening everyone to take a break from the terrible tense rhythm in which we now exist. The living room, according to tradition, opened with an art exhibition, and this time Bishop John presented the guests with part of his collection of paintings, and Natalya Goncharenko, candidate of art history, head of the graphics and exhibition sector of the Belgorod Art Museum, spoke in more detail about the artists. She first presented a collection of seven lithographs from the album of Prince Grigory Gagarin, called “Costumes of the Caucasus.”
