I hope the celebration will be calm and comfortable. I would love to see the Patriarch in such simple prayers, especially in a small church on the Bosphorus. Was there a lot of attendance this time?

Nice little service on the Bosphorus, I love these. How many people were there this time, Samir? In Nizhny, there are usually 15-20 people at prayer services on weekdays, no more.

In Lviv, I usually have 15–20 souls at such prayers on weekdays, no more. It is nice to see that even in the small church on the Bosphorus, the Patriarch serves simply, without pomp. And how many people were there this time, can someone tell me?

Yes, the celebration was very quiet this time, and the patriarch seemed more comfortable than previous times. The small church in Newchori was full but not crowded, about fifty people. Did you attend there before, Samir?

In Lviv, there are always 15-20 souls at such everyday prayers, so it is nice to read that about fifty people gathered in a small church in Neoshori without overcrowding. The patriarch must have really felt at ease when he served simply, without too much pomp. Does anyone know exactly which icon or saint was on that canon?

Our weekday prayer services at Holy Trinity in Chicago usually draw about the same 15–20 people, so it’s nice to hear that the little church in Neochori filled with around fifty without feeling crowded. Sounds like the Patriarch really was at ease this time. Does anyone know which saint or icon the supplicatory canon was for?

In Nizhny, we also rarely have more than twenty people at such prayer services by the river, especially on weekdays. And on the Bosphorus, judging by the photo, there were clearly more people coming out, it turned out beautifully. Have you been there yourself, Konstantin?

Here in Minsk, there are also usually 15–20 people at weekday prayer services in the church, no more. It’s nice that about fifty people gathered in the small church in Neochori without being overcrowded. Can you tell me which canon they served?

Yes, I heard that the atmosphere was calm and comfortable this time. I attended there twice two years ago. The church is really small and warm, but the crowd varies depending on the day. Have you noticed that the Patriarch changed the way requests are read this time?

In Podil, on weekdays at such prayers, there are usually 15–20 souls, no more. It is pleasant that about fifty people gathered in the small church in Neoshor and without a crowd. And which canon was served, can you tell me?

Тетяна Кравченко
In Lviv on weekdays 15–20 is still not bad, in Poltava we often don't even get a dozen. And on the Bosphorus, judging by the photo, there were about the same number of people, modestly and humanely. Do you often go to such prayer services on weekdays?
Б
Богдана Николова
Here in Burgas, more than 15-18 people rarely gather for prayer on a weekday in the small "St. Nicholas" church, so it struck me that there were about 50 in Neohori without it being crowded. I like that the Patriarch serves simply, without excessive solemnity. And which canon was it exactly - a prayer to the Mother of God?
م
مريم حداد
Yes, I noticed relief from the Patriarch this time, especially after last year. Fifty people were enough to keep the church comfortable without causing pressure. Hanna, were you sitting close to the altar or in the back?

Антон Орлов
Yes, on weekdays in St. Petersburg we also often have 10–15 people at a prayer service, no more. And, judging by the photo and description, they served a prayer canon to the Most Holy Theotokos. What church do you usually visit in Minsk?
Е
Евгения Макарова
Here in Novosibirsk, ten to fifteen people usually gather at prayer services near the Ob River, especially on weekdays. And on the Bosphorus it turned out really beautiful, the water is wide, the view is completely different. Konstantin, what year were you there, in warm weather or autumn?
Н
Надежда Тарасова
Thank you, Anton, in our Tula weekday prayer services there are also often ten or twelve people, no more. Yes, this is precisely the prayer canon to the Mother of God. And in Minsk, I usually visit the Holy Spirit Cathedral when I come. Which church in St. Petersburg do you visit most often?
К
Ксения Фёдорова
Thank you, Nadezhda, in Munich, our weekday prayer services are also rarely more than ten, especially on weekdays. In St. Petersburg, I most often go to the Church of the Entry of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Vasilyevsky, it’s very cozy there. And in Minsk, at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, did you attend what kind of prayer service?
П
Полина Павлова
Thank you, Ksenia, in Voronezh there are often five or six people at our weekday prayer services, especially in winter. In Minsk we were at the akathist prayer service in the Holy Spiritual Church, where we sang very soulfully. And in St. Petersburg, I also went to the Church of the Entry on Vasilyevsky a couple of times, it was really cozy, especially after the service, tea with bagels.

Тамара Семёнова
Thank you, Polina, in Moscow there are often five or six people at our weekday prayer services, especially in the cold. In Voronezh, which church do you usually go to? I wonder if maybe I'll stop by someday.
