TWO CULTURAL ACCENTS IN THE HISTORICAL MUSEUM – KOTEL ON SEPTEMBER 19 AND 20translated

On September 19 and 20, the Historical Museum - Kotel will offer the residents and guests of the city two events that tell about Bulgarian memory, traditions and spirituality in different ways.
On September 19 at 5:00 p.m., as part of the European Cultural Heritage Days 2026, the museum will host the exhibition "Resurrected Bagri: The Living Heritage of Bulgaria" by the master-weaving artist Detelina Dacheva, and a day later will welcome Academician Tonya Borisova with her author's poetic and musical performance "Paths to the Soul of Bulgaria".
Detelina Dacheva's exhibition presents 17 traditional costumes from different ethnographic regions of Bulgaria. Some of them are entirely made by the author, while others combine authentic elements with her restoration and creative work. Among the highlights is the Sokai hunting costume, complemented by objects related to the traditional Bulgarian way of life.
On September 20, from 5:00 p.m., Academician Tonya Borisova will be a guest at the museum exhibition with her author's poetic and musical performance "Paths to the Soul of Bulgaria".
