God saves through love, said His Holiness Father Sofronie, Bishop of Oradea, on Sunday, at the first Liturgy celebrated in the new church of the Vârtop Hermitage in Bihor county.

Upon arrival, the Bishop of Oradea was greeted, according to the Moti tradition, by Tulnicares from the Apuseni Mountains, and the Liturgy was attended by representatives of the central and local authorities and hundreds of believers from several counties.

"God is the only one who has the power to cast out the unclean spirits. What are the unclean spirits looking for? To rule, to dominate! They want to have their own empire", explained the Most Reverend Father Sophronie in the sermon on the Healing of two blind and a mute in Capernaum.

"Why did the great angel, Satan, fall from the beginning? Because he wanted to put himself in God's place! He went to the Divine Monarchy, he wanted to make himself king over Creation, forgetting that he is a creature."
