Spiritual regression: Christians were told the dangers of reading the wrong prayerstranslated

When choosing a printed or electronic prayer book, you should pay attention to the origin of the texts presented in it and the approval of the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church. Kulik reports this with reference to priest Yevgeny Podvysotsky. He warned that among the prayers available on the Internet and in print, there are texts by unknown authors with serious doctrinal errors.

Most Orthodox prayers with requests for health, family, children and work were created by holy people who had rich spiritual experience. Such texts appeared, among other things, as a response to the needs of parishioners. Authentic Orthodox prayers have famous church authors.

When purchasing a prayer book, the priest recommends looking for the stamp “Recommended for publication by the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church” or “Approved for publication” on the publication. This marking indicates that the contents of the book have been properly reviewed. In particular, it should not contain prayers that contradict Christian commandments.
