The confessor of the Ekaterinburg Theological Seminary, Priest Konstantin Korepanov, gave a report at the Ekaterinodar Theological Seminarytranslated

On October 26, 2026, at the Ekaterinodar Theological Seminary, a meeting was held with the confessor of the Ekaterinburg Theological Seminary, Priest Konstantin Korepanov. Father Konstantin presented a report on the topic “Updating spiritual education in the life of a modern pastor.”

In his speech, the lecturer touched upon issues of practical application of theological knowledge in everyday pastoral service. He paid special attention to the importance of combining academic training with living experience of church life. According to Father Konstantin, spiritual education should not remain only a theoretical basis - it is called upon to become an effective tool in the priest’s real work with people.

The lecturer also spoke about what qualities need to be cultivated in future shepherds even within the walls of the seminary and why the atmosphere of brotherhood and mentoring is no less important than academic disciplines.

After the speech, students were able to ask questions to the lecturer and communicate with him in an informal setting.
