Spiritual meeting at the Trinity boarding housetranslated

For the wards of the Dunilovichi social boarding house “Trinity”, every visit of a clergyman becomes a long-awaited and bright holiday. The arrival of a longtime friend and spiritual caretaker of the institution - Archpriest George Lakotka - brought the residents of the boarding house incomparable joy, marked by the performance of the most important church Sacraments.

The earthly life of the elderly and people with disabilities living here is filled with the care of the staff, but their souls invariably seek a quiet haven, consolation and deep spiritual renewal.

The main event of this day was the acceptance of the Sacrament of Baptism by one of the residents of the boarding house, for whom this step opened the door to a new, conscious spiritual life in Christ.

For the rest of the wards of the Trinity boarding house, the arrival of Father George became an opportunity to unite with God in the main church Sacraments - Confession and Communion of the Holy Mysteries of Christ. After the Sacraments were performed, Father George remained at the boarding house for the most personal and sensitive format of service - individual pastoral conversations.
