The clergy of the Aksai deanery provides assistance to victims after a UAV attack in the city of Aksaitranslated

On the night of August 29, 2026, the Aksai region was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result of the incident, there were casualties: people received shrapnel wounds of varying degrees, concussions and other injuries. They were quickly taken to the Aksai city hospital, where they received the necessary medical care. As of today, there are no deaths.
As a result of the attack, private residential buildings and an apartment building were seriously damaged. The affected residents needed help in restoring damaged housing and solving everyday problems.
With the blessing of the Head of the Don Metropolis, Metropolitan Mercury of Rostov and Novocherkassk, the rectors of the parishes of the Aksai deanery announced a collection of funds for the victims. In total, we managed to collect 188,925 rubles. The funds collected are used to restore damaged housing, in particular to repair the facades of houses and replace window frames.
The dean of the Aksai district, Hieromonk Vikenty (Svistunov), interacts with the administration of the city of Aksai and coordinates the provision of necessary assistance to families in need.
