Two academic events dedicated to the Christian family and holy women were organized on Monday at the "Ilarion V. Felea" Faculty of Orthodox Theology within the "Aurel Vlaicu" University in Arad

Guests from the country and the Republic of Moldova participated in the communication sessions.

The program included the Symposium of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School, with the theme "Pastoralization of the family. Patristic models and current demands", and the Symposium of students and master's students, entitled "Models of holy women in the history of the Christian Church".

The inaugural moment took place in the Faculty Hall, where Fr. Caius Cutaru, the Director of the Department of Theological Disciplines, conveyed the message to father Cristinel Ioja, the dean of the faculty, and Fr. Tiberius Ardelean on that of Archbishop Timotei of Arad.

"Through these scientific events, young theologians are encouraged to capitalize on the spiritual and cultural heritage, actively contributing to the theological dialogue and the pastoral mission of the Church in contemporary society," the representatives of the Archdiocese of Arad said.

The papers presented in the symposia will be published in two separate volumes.
