Preschoolers together with their teachers visited the Myronositsky Church in Istratranslated
On September 10, children from preschool department No. together with their teachers visited the Myronositsky Church in the city of Istra.
The guests were greeted by the church cleric, Priest Maxim Saryev. He gave the children an educational tour: he spoke about the structure of the church, about the holy myrrh-bearing women and about the most important book for Orthodox Christians - the Gospel. Father Maxim drew the children's attention to the revered church images and explained how icons differ from other images.
The meeting ended with a touching moment: the children lit candles and prayed for their loved ones.
