Preschoolers got acquainted with the church and the parish librarytranslated

On October 22, pupils of the State Educational Institution “Nursery-Garden No. 30 of Novopolotsk” State Educational Institution together with teachers visited the parish of the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Novopolotsk.

When welcoming the guests, the parish librarian Olga Vasilievna Bakunovich reminded the kids that the church is a special, holy place, which is called the House of God. Gathering here, people unite in common prayer, directing their hearts and thoughts to the Lord.

The kids took a short trip around the church and got acquainted with good books from the parish library, which they could leaf through and make up their own stories based on the colorful illustrations.

A master class in bell ringing was also held for children, which was conducted by the Deputy Rector for Economic Affairs Sergei Georgievich Emavsky. Each child had the opportunity to ring the bells independently.

The excursion to the church turned out to be eventful and informative.
