Yesterday, on the eve of Sunday, during the evening service, which was held in all Omsk churches, our city was subjected to the most serious air attack in all previous times. Under the roar of explosions, without leaving the churches, Orthodox priests and laity prayed to God, His Most Pure Mother and Saint Sylvester that our city would be preserved and its inhabitants would remain unharmed. By the grace of God, thanks to the selfless actions of our warrior defenders, regional and city authorities and emergency services, there are no deaths, and the victims receive all the necessary help to recover quickly. We all pray for this, as well as for the fact that in the future the hand of the Russian warrior will be strong and his gaze sharp, our hearts will be filled with courage and an ardent desire to help each other, and God’s Grace will protect Omsk, our Russian Fatherland and all of us!
