DOM Prepares for Upcoming “SOS” Sunday, September 27

CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – The Diocese of the Midwest has taken the month of September to pray and focus on vocations in the Diocese, in particular, the Seminarians of the Midwest. The Diocese runs it’s annual “Support Our Seminarians” campaign throughout the month as a way to raise funds for the students and their families that are away at seminary preparing to serve the diocese.

As previously announced , this Sunday, September 27, parishes throughout the Diocese of the Midwest will highlight this effort and hold special collections for the DOM seminarians.

All of the funds collected for the “SOS” campaign go directly to the students who can not hold jobs during their studies, but still have living expenses to cover during this time.

Individuals are encouraged to donate through their parishes, by mailing a check to the diocese, or  online .
