Documents on the restoration of the Alexander Nevsky Church were transferred to state storagetranslated

Director of the United State Regional Archive Igor Vishev and the dean of the Bishop's Deanery of the Chelyabinsk Diocese, rector of the Alexander Nevsky Church, Archpriest Boris Krivonogov, signed an agreement on the transfer of documents for restoration. Design and executive documentation, as well as sketches and working cardboards of the interior paintings of the church, made by St. Petersburg artist Dmitry Selivanov, were transferred to the archive. The materials will be used for scientific and exhibition work. Father Boris spoke about the completion of the restoration: the church was returned to its original appearance, and the painting that began before the revolution was completely completed. “The Alexander Nevsky Church is a national treasure. Now it is preparing to receive the status of a monument of federal significance. It is important to preserve the history of its restoration for future generations,” the priest noted.
