School directors of the Emelyanovsky district visited the church complex in Barabanovtranslated

On October 22, a meeting of school directors in the Emelyanovsky municipal district was held. At the end of the plenary part, its participants visited the church complex of the village of Barabanovo, where the guests were met by the diocesan ancient guardian, rector of the churches of the Great Martyr Paraskeva Pyatnitsa and the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, Priest Alexy Yazev.
In the Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Church, the directors got acquainted with the history of the settlement, construction and restoration of the church. Then there was a discussion about the role and significance of the Orthodox faith in the formation of personality, as well as about the forms of interaction between Orthodox parishes and secondary schools. At the end of the discussion, the guests examined the collection of pre-revolutionary cast bells in the Peter and Paul Church and paid special attention to the unique bell of the mid-19th century, cast specifically for zemstvo rural schools. As historians note, it was zemstvo schools that became the forerunner of modern primary classes and the basis for accessible public schools.
As a result of the conversation, the parties agreed to continue it in other formats.
