The children's bishop's choir presented a concert program dedicated to the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russiatranslated

On September 20, with the blessing of Archbishop Varlaam of Makhachkala and Derbent, a concert of the Children's Bishop's Choir under the direction of Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan Natalya Makeeva took place in the spiritual and educational center at the Assumption Cathedral of Makhachkala.
The idea of a new concert program dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia belongs to Natalya Makeeva. In the performance, music, poetry, and dance are intertwined and create a colorful canvas that reflects the richness of the cultures of the peoples of our country.
Russian, Kumyk, Lak, Lezgin, Dargin, Kalmyk, Bashkir, Tuvan and Chukchi folk songs were performed by the choir and soloists.
The dancers of the ballet “Kilian” (artistic director Klavdiya Magomedtagirova) presented ancient Avar and Adyghe dances.
An ensemble of Russian folk instruments under the direction of the Honored Teacher of the Republic of Dagestan Andrei Bondarenko performed a fantasy on the theme of the Russian folk song “Century Linden” and an Ossetian tune.
Artists of the Children's Bishop's Choir read poems by folk and modern poets.
