A "children's" liturgy was celebrated in the Spassky Convent during school holidays.translated

On November 1, on Sunday, during the Feast of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Belarus, a "children's" Divine Liturgy was served in the Spassky Women's Convent. Participants of the youth brotherhood "Spasskoye" and students of the Sunday School at the convent sang on the choir, read the hours, the Apostles, thanksgiving prayers, and the boys served in the altar.

All the children, together with their parents, received the Holy Mysteries.

After the service, in the premises of the Sunday School, the children were told about the liturgical books, their content, and purpose.

The Abbess of the convent, Sister Theodora, explained the main essence and principles of using the Octoechos, Menologion, Lenten and Flower Triodion.

The parish priest, Hieromonk George Tykhnyuk, spoke about the order of reading the Holy Gospel and Apostles during the service.
