A prayer service before the icon of the Mother of God “Healer” was performed on the day of her special church honor, on the first day of October, in the day rehabilitation department for children with disabilities of the Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities in Velikiye Luki (Pskov Region). The “Healer” icon has long been revered as the intercessor of all who need help, support and healing.
