The State Duma deputy was presented with the Patriarchal Awardtranslated
On September 17, 2026, a working meeting between Archbishop of Vladikavkaz and Alan Gerasim and State Duma deputy Zurab Makiev took place. During the meeting, Archbishop Gerasim gave Zurab Makiev the Order of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Blessed Prince Daniel of Moscow, III degree, which he was awarded by decree of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill in consideration of the assistance provided to the Vladikavkaz diocese.
