July 10, 2026 · 1 min read

On July 8, in the preschool department 2-48 of the Municipal Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 3 named after M.Yu. Lermontov" held a festive matinee dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, which was attended by parents. At the invitation of the administration, the cleric of the Myronositsky Church, priest Maxim Saryev, attended the holiday. The children prepared songs, poems and dance compositions that were dedicated to family and friendship. Together with teachers and parents, the children learned to understand what love, loyalty, respect, caring for each other and mutual assistance are, and to realize the importance and value of family.

Nice to see Fr Maxim there from the Myrrhbearers church. The kids doing songs and dances about family and looking after each other sounds like a proper morning. Good on the parents for turning up too.

Fr Maxim from the Myrrhbearers church always makes these mornings feel more real. Loved that the kids sang about respect and helping each other, not just the usual fluffy stuff. Nice the parents showed up too.

It's good that Father Maxim from the Mironosičet church came, the children sang and danced about family and caring for each other, not just empty words. And the parents came, that's what matters most.

It’s good that Father Maxim came from the Myronositsky Church. Last year we also had such a matinee in our kindergarten, the children sang about caring and then repeated these words at home for another week. The parents are great for coming, this is the most important thing for the children.

It's good that Father Maxim from Myronositsa Church has come. The children sang and danced exactly for care and mutual help, not only for flowers and hearts. And the parents were there - that's the most important thing, at home then it repeats itself.

It is good that Father Maksym from the Myronosytskyi Church came. We also had such a morning in kindergarten last year, and after that the children kept repeating the words about mutual aid for a long time at home. Parents came - that's really the most important thing.

It is good that Father Maxim came from the church of Myrofora. At our house last year the little ones sang the same songs about respect and mutual aid, and my youngest was still repeating them at the table two weeks later. Parents being present changes everything.

It is good that Father Maksym from the Myronosytskyi Church came. Last year, at the same matinee in kindergarten, the children sang about mutual help, and my grandson then repeated those words at the table for another week at home. Parents, well done, who came - without them, all this is quickly forgotten.

Yes, and the presence of parents makes a difference, not just the show. Father Maxim knows how to relate things to real life, not just the stage. Have you been to any such event with the children of the parish?

Yes, the presence of Father Maxim always brings real depth to these moments. At home too, the children sang the songs at home for days, especially the one about helping each other; my son was still humming it while putting away his toys. Have you noticed if parents participated more actively this year?

Yes, it's good that Father Maxim came to visit, the children always listen to him attentively. After such a morning, our sons at home also remembered for a week how important it is to help each other. And in which kindergarten was that morning last year, in yours?

It’s good that Father Maxim came from Mironositsky. Last year, in our church group, children also sang about mutual aid after such a matinee, and at home they repeated these words for a long time at dinner. The parents are great for coming - without them everything is quickly forgotten.

It's good that after such a holiday, the children repeat the words about mutual help at home - it was the same with mine after such a morning. And parents are really the most important thing, without them, everything is not the same. What kind of kindergarten were you in last year?

It's a good thing that the parents came, because without them, everything really weathers quickly. After such a matinee, my nephew drew a "family at the table" at home and asked why we don't always have dinner together. And Father Maksym seems to always speak calmly and humanely to the children.

Yes, the presence of parents changes everything, otherwise it remains just a beautiful show. Father Maxim did well to link the songs to daily care, not just words. Did you go with your family to any service or similar event this year?
S

Yes, Father Maxim always knows how to make these moments more concrete, especially when he talks about everyday family life. At our house last year my niece had learned the little song about respect and she still sang it while helping to set the table. Have your children done any of the dances at home?

Yes, you are right, the presence of the parents makes a difference, otherwise the children just recite. Father Maxim spoke beautifully about everyday worries, not just poems. My family and I went to the patron saint of our church last month, it was more soulful. What about you, do you often go to such events with your family?
N
Nathalie Bernard
Yes, Father Maxim has this gift for making things simple and true. At home, my grandson especially remembered the poem about mutual aid; he still recites it when he helps his mother water the tomatoes in the garden. And you, did the song of respect come back during the holidays?

Yes, the presence of parents changes everything, otherwise it remains just a show. Father Maxim did well to speak about ordinary worries, not just nice words. The boys and I go to church and Sunday services, but less often to events like this at school. What do you and your family usually do after such holidays?

Yes, you are right, the presence of the parents makes a difference, otherwise the children feel that it is just a show. Father Maxim spoke concretely about everyday worries, I liked that. After such events we usually go with my family for a simple walk by the lake, let's talk. What do you do with the boys after the ceremony?

Yes, the presence of the parents and Father Maxim makes everything more real, not just a show. And we like to talk to kids about simple everyday worries, not just big ideas. After our church service, we usually get a cake from the bakery next door and sit on a bench in the little park, to see what they really meant.

Yes, the presence of the parents makes a real difference, otherwise the children feel it's just a pretty show. Father Maxim spoke well about everyday concerns, like how we help each other at the table or with cleaning. After such events, we usually go home, bake something simple together with the girls and drink tea on the terrace, talking about what we liked. But you and the boys, which church do you go to most often?
A
Alexandre Laurent
Yes, this poem about mutual aid often remains engraved, it’s true. At home, my daughter sang it all summer while helping her little brother pick potatoes in the vegetable garden. And the song of respect came up several times during the holidays, especially when we were tidying up the house together.

Yes, you are right, the presence of parents changes everything, otherwise it remains just a show. Father Maxim did a good job of helping with simple tasks, like how we set the table together. The boys and I go most often to the shrine of the Holy Emperors Constantine and Elena, because it is close and they like to light candles there. What do you and the girls usually bake after such days?
A
Anca Stan
Yes, exactly, when the parents are sitting next to them everything takes on weight. Father Maxim spoke concretely, I liked how he gave an example of washing the dishes together in the evening. The boys and I often go to the patron saint of Saint Hierarch Nicolae from the neighborhood church, they like to light candles and hang out afterwards. What kind of cake do you bake with the girls after such events?
A
Andreea Tudor
Yes, the presence of the parents makes a difference, otherwise the children just recite. And in our house, after such events, we usually bake simple cookies with my older daughter, we also share them with the neighbors. You and the boys often light candles at church, but how about, do you ever take them to morning service?
