Memorial Day of St. ap. Peter and Paul in the Elias Church in Koltushitranslated

On July 12, on the day of remembrance of the holy chief apostles Peter and Paul, a festive service was held in the Ilyinsky Church in the city of Koltushi, Kudrovsky deanery. This day marks the end of Peter's Fast and is one of the main holidays in the church calendar.

The solemn Divine Liturgy brought together many parishioners, united by common prayer. The celebration continued with a concert and a shared meal on the parish grounds.

Good that so many gathered in Koltoussi for the service. Here in Larissa after Petros we always bake bread with olives on the table, something similar to the khachapuri that Ketevan says. My little granddaughter helped with the kneading this year, she loved it.
