Youth Day in Kudrovo united church youth organizations of the St. Petersburg Metropolistranslated

On June 27, 2026, the main regional holiday dedicated to Youth Day took place in Kudrovo. The dioceses of the St. Petersburg Metropolis took an active part in its work. A special site was organized for church youth organizations on the territory of the Church of St. Apostle John the Theologian.

The Vyborg diocese was represented by the rector of the Church of the Holy Image of the Savior Not Made by Hands in the city of Vsevolozhsk, the chairman of the youth department of the Vyborg diocese, Priest Anatoly Boguta, the clergy supervising youth work in the deaneries, Priest Gleb Tikhashin and Priest John Zatolokin, as well as more than 60 young participants.

The program began with interactive acquaintance. Participants searched for each other using quotes from the Holy Scriptures and works of Russian classics, and then discussed what thoughts and meanings resonated in their lives.

After joint prayer and a meal, a jeff-sharing took place - an interactive discussion, during which participants take different positions on the proposed issues and argue their point of view. The topic of the meeting was the influence of church tradition and Holy Scripture on the life of modern man.
