The delegation of the Tara region took part in the V All-Siberian military-historical festival “Feat - 1612”translated

The V All-Siberian Military-Historical Festival “Feat - 1612” was held in Omsk, timed to coincide with National Unity Day. The events took place on a new equipped site with recreated earthen fortifications. The main event was the battle dedicated to the liberation of Moscow from the Polish-Lithuanian invaders in 1612.

In total, more than 180 reenactors from different regions of Russia took part in the festival. The Omsk region was represented by a delegation from Tara - 16 people who transformed into Don Cossacks in specially tailored costumes.

The deputy chairman of the youth department of the Tara diocese, Maxim Khatskilevich, took part in the delegation. Six cannons and more than 70 firearms helped create the atmosphere of the era.

Participants from Tara thank the Administration of the Tara region for the transport provided. The project is being implemented by the OROO of military history clubs “Takmykskaya Sloboda” with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund.
