"We, the Church, are one body. If one of us suffers, no matter how small, the whole community suffers and you participate in the life of the community, trying to do something too," said Bishop Benedict of Sălaj on Monday, in Stârciu, in the Sâla commune of Horoatu Crasnei, where he blessed a house rebuilt after the fire.

"A body is not content to have only one healthy member, but wants all its members to enjoy the life that a community entails," added the hierarch.

"When you see that a man is in need, you do not think, but go and give him a helping hand, to help him out of the impasse he has entered. This way we show our mercy and show ourselves as a body."
