Romanian children and teenagers in Canada can enroll at the Junimea Romanian School in Montrealtranslated

Enrollment has begun at the Junimea Romanian School in Montreal, dedicated to Romanian children and teenagers from the province of Quebec, announces the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of Canada. The courses start on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The founder of the project, Otilia-Sorina Tunaru, was awarded by the Presidency of Romania the "Merit for Education" Order with the rank of Knight.

The school's non-formal education activities are conducted in Romanian, French and English. The project is supported by a team of parents-teachers who aim both to support students during their Canadian school journey and to preserve and transmit the Romanian language and culture.

Education adapted to the children of Québec Junimea proposes an educational model without grades, focused on the development of logical thinking, emotional intelligence, self-confidence and adaptability. The courses are designed according to the Québec curriculum and the level and pace of learning of each child.

The educational offer includes courses for all levels of education, as well as numerous complementary activities: drama, journalism, fine arts, good manners, mathematics, chess, competitions and school olympiads.
