On Monday, the children from the "Buna Vestire" Kindergarten of the Romanian Patriarchate received a children's book in which the life of St. Cuv. Dimitrie cel Nou is narrated and illustrated according to their understanding.
The gift, offered at the initiative of the Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel, reached the children on the very day when the Church marked a holiday recently included in the calendar: Bringing the relics of Saint Demetrius to Bucharest.
The children flipped through the beautifully illustrated pages and discovered, with the help of the teachers, the life of the Patron Saint of Bucharest. The children asked questions and talked about the good deeds they can do every day.
"We cultivate values such as faith in God, love for one's neighbor, peace, joy, understanding and other Christian values that are sown in the souls of these children who study at the Annunciation Kindergarten", said Rev. Ciprian Valentin Chirițoiu, manager of the educational institution, for Trinitas TV.
