Congress in Montreal: Bishop Siluan of Hungary and Rev. Prof. Vasile Mihoc arrived in Canadatranslated

Reverend Father Siluan, Bishop of Hungary, and Rev. Prof. Vasile Mihoc, from the Faculty of Orthodox Theology "St. Andrei Șaguna" in Sibiu, arrived in Montreal on Thursday, to participate in this year's edition of the Congress of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of Canada.

Invitees will deliver one conference each at the event, held July 3-5, 2026, at the Cathedral of "St. George" and "St. Epictetus and Astion" in Saint-Hubert, Québec.

Romanians are invited to participate in the events starting on Friday at 16:00 local time, when both guests will hold a conference and a dialogue.

Sunday, July 5, 2026, Reverend Father Siluan will officiate the Holy Liturgy together with Reverend Father Ioan Casian.

The Congress of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of Canada reached its sixth edition this year.
