Diaspora compatriots can access information and services through a campaign of the Department for Romanians Everywheretranslated

Compatriots from the diaspora can more easily access official information and public services through a new campaign of the Department for Romanians Everywhere of the Government of Romania, according to a press release.

Entitled, "Romania, closer to you", the initiative was developed following requests sent by Romanian communities outside the country's borders for better communication with state institutions.

"Regardless of the distance, the connection with the country remains a deep one, and the Romania, closer to you campaign was born precisely from the desire to transform this feeling into real support", said Cristina-Lavinia Arnăutu, director with attributions of state secretary of the department.

The aim of the campaign is to transmit timely and updated information regarding legal rights and obligations, the services of state institutions, government programs and financing opportunities intended for Romanian communities abroad.

With the Romanians, regardless of the country The action benefits from the support of several ministries of the Romanian Government, as well as the help of some institutions and organizations.
