The communities of Upper Austria discussed with the authorities the administrative needs in the liturgical spacetranslated

The representatives of the Churches of Upper Austria met on Tuesday Thomas Stelzer, the governor of the state of Oberösterreich. On this occasion, the needs and challenges of the local Orthodox communities regarding adequate spaces for the liturgical mission were discussed.
Among the topics discussed were the identification of forms of support for Orthodox priests, at the regional level, as well as the possibility that certain Roman Catholic places of worship be made available to Orthodox communities that need churches.
Following the discussions, the decision was reached to offer the communities the support of advisers and mentors to help them access the forms of funding and support offered by the Land of Oberösterreich for religious, cultural and social projects.
Support for communities The meeting was attended by representatives of the Romanian Orthodox community in Austria, councilor Cătălin Curea and Florentina Bălășoiu, consul of Romania in Salzburg.
The dialogue between the Orthodox communities and the state authorities has been going on for about a year and a half thanks to the efforts of Dr. Paulus Wahl.
