In Hammoud, Jordan, an attack on a church during a funeral left at least nine victims. The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem strongly condemned this terrorist act and reaffirmed the roots of Christians in their land. Nine people were killed and around twenty others injured, some seriously, on Friday October 23, during an attack on the Greek Orthodox church of Saint George in Hammoud, in the Karak governorate, in the south.
