Cluj-Napoca hosts the first Central European Artificial Intelligence Olympiad: Over 200 students from 32 countriestranslated

More than 200 high school students from 32 countries are participating in the first edition of the Central European Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (CEOAI) organized between July 14-19 at the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca.
The opening ceremony took place on Wednesday in the Auditorium Maximum of the higher education institution and brought together the participating students, representatives of the academic environment, public authorities, the international artificial intelligence community and some technology companies. One of the central moments of the event was the parade of the 32 national delegations.
Guests included Professor John Shawe-Taylor, UNESCO Chair in Artificial Intelligence at University College London and President of the International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IAIO).
