Clerics from several Orthodox Churches in Canada honored St. Ioan Maximovicitranslated

Clergy belonging to several canonical Orthodox Churches in Canada gathered in Windsor, Ontario, on Saturday to honor Saint Hierarch Ioan Maximovici, patron of the Fraternity of Orthodox Clergy in the Windsor-Essex region.
The Holy Liturgy was performed at the "Saint George and Saint Andrew Shaguna" Cathedral in Windsor by the Most Reverend Father Ioan Casian, the Romanian Orthodox Bishop of Canada, together with Romanian, Greek, Serbian, Macedonian priests and from the Orthodox Church of America (OCA).
At the end of the Holy Liturgy, PS Ioan Casian spoke about the life, sanctity and missionary activity of Saint Ioan Maximovici, emphasizing the relevance of his example for the Orthodox Church and for the mission carried out in North American society.
Proto-single Corneliu Andrașco, president of the Windsor-Essex Orthodox Clergy Fraternity, thanked the hierarch for his presence and for serving at the organization's first consecration.
