The miraculous copy of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God from the village of Korobeynikovo will arrive in the Krasnoyarsk and Yenisei diocesestranslated

From October 13 to October 30, 2026, in the churches of the Krasnoyarsk and Yenisei dioceses there will be a miraculous copy of the Kazan Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary from the village of Korobeinikovo - the greatest Altai shrine and the only miraculous image in Siberia. The solemn meeting of the icon will take place in the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the city of Krasnoyarsk on October 13 before the all-night vigil, where the image will be available for veneration by believers until October 18.

Next, the shrine will be transferred to the convent of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Krasnoyarsk, where it will remain from October 18 to 22. From October 22 to 26, the miraculous image will be greeted by the Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Lesosibirsk, and the icon’s stay in the Krasnoyarsk Metropolis will end in the Cathedral Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the city of Achinsk - from October 26 to 30, 2026.

The Korobeinikovskaya Kazan Icon of the Mother of God has a special history. The Church of the Mother of God of Kazan in the village of Korobeynikova was erected in 1902 under the leadership of the builder-architect Borzenko and consecrated in 1903–1904.
