It’s good that Archbishop Cupich and the nuns are not silent, but filed a lawsuit. In Russia this is not yet being pushed, thank God. I wonder how the court will decide next, whether they will write it in the news later.

I hope the cardinal and those nuns get somewhere with the lawsuit. Forcing doctors or Catholic hospitals to help end someone's life doesn't sit right with basic conscience protections. Curious if Illinois will carve out any religious exemptions or just steamroll ahead.

Yes, it’s good that they are not silent and protect people from this. Here in Russia we really are holding out for now, although there is certainly pressure. I wonder what the court will say, I will follow the news.

It’s good that Cupich and the nuns went straight to court and didn’t just say words. We don’t have such a law in Russia yet, and thank God, but if they start pushing it, we will also have to protect the conscience of doctors. I wonder if Illinois will at least leave some exceptions for Catholic hospitals.
