– Alexandra Mikhailovna, please tell us, at what period of your life did you realize that you wanted to be with God, to take part in the life of the parish? How did the idea of ​​floristry come about?

– I was baptized at school age. And I went to the church maybe once a year, sometimes I went just to look. And then there was a period when I thought about my life: why everything wasn’t working out the way I wanted. The thought arose: why not go and live in a monastery? I came to the icon shop of the Komarovsky Monastery. I asked how to get there. I arrived at the monastery and lived for several days. This was about 30 years ago. It was during that visit that I was invited to help decorate the icon for the patronal feast day of the Archangel Michael. That is, for the first time in my life I decorated with fresh flowers there. Then I decorated a rural church in Arkhangelskoye. Father very patiently endured all my experiments.
