The sooner you pray, the better?translated

September 16, 2026 · 1 min read

Reader question:

Hello. When I pray in the morning, the day goes well. But if I’m late by at least an hour, for some reason not everything goes so smoothly that day.

Alla

Priest's answer:

Priest Evgeniy CHEBYKIN

Hello, Alla.

It seems to me that this happens because when you get up earlier, you have more time to get everything done. And when you get up later, there is less time left, and you do not have time to implement everything you have planned.

In this case, I can only recommend that you get up early so that everything works out for you during the day.

Please try to regularly attend church services, go to confession, partake of the Holy Mysteries of Christ, read wise books and do good deeds.

May the Lord help you!
