"Let's see if what we have is only ours or can become a blessing for others as well", emphasized the Patriarchal Vicar Bishop Paisie Sinaitul, on Sunday, at the "Sfânta Maria" Monastery in Techirghiol, Constanța county.

Starting from the dialogue between the Savior and the Apostles in the Gospel of the multiplication of the loaves, His Eminence showed that the exhortation "Give them to eat!" it does not call people to be mere spectators of their neighbor's suffering, but to become a response to the needs of those around them.

"Faced with the real need of the crowd to receive food after a day of lack, the disciples found the solution: Let the crowd go. In other words, let each one fend for himself. How many times do we not do the same? We see a man in need and we say: God help him!, but without asking whether God wants to help him through our hands."

The hierarch explained that the question addressed to the apostles - "How many loaves do you have? Go and see" - is, in fact, a call to examine one's own conscience and how each one uses the goods received from God.
