This sounds like the same old stuff being dragged out again. If it's really nothing new, why keep the probe going this long? Hope they wrap it up soon so the parish can move on.

This sounds like they are rehashing the same old stuff Laura says. If there's nothing new, why don't they finally shut it down? All it does is keep the parish burning.

I get what you're saying, Laura, but these things often drag because the earlier allegations weren't fully closed out last time. Bishop Caldwell mentioned they pulled in some old witness statements that never got followed up properly. Hope the new team finishes it clean so the parish can actually put it behind them.

I agree with Matthew. If there are still unverified martyrdom statements from the old investigation, it is normal to check them now to avoid any doubts. I just hope to finish it quickly and cleanly, and to escape the tension.

I agree with Matthew and Mihai – if there are any other unresolved statements from the old trial, it is normal to review them to ensure they do not linger. But Laura has a point – how long can this drag on? I hope the new team will wrap it up quickly and the parish can finally move forward.

I agree with Matthew and those who wrote after him - if the old testimony of witnesses was never properly verified, then it is right that they are now raised. But Laura also makes a point: as long as you can drag on the same thing, the parish is already tired. I hope the new team will really follow through and close the issue.

I agree, Miloš, old statements should not stand unexamined, that is correct. I just hope that this new team will really finish in a couple of months, and not drag on until the next glory. Have you heard anything specific about how they plan to work on this?

Olga, you are right that the old testimony could not just be left behind. But here’s what I thought: if the new team starts again with the same papers, without new facts, then the parish will really be completely exhausted. Maybe it’s worth first openly telling people exactly what points are being checked now, so as not to breed rumors?

I agree, Nemanja, old things should be reviewed so that they are not forgotten. I heard they said they will work faster than last time, but we'll see. And you, were you at the last celebration in the parish when this was mentioned?
