On July 4, the day of the discovery of the relics of St. Maxim the Greek, Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church in the name of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious. Koptevka.

His Eminence was served by the rector of the church, Archpriest Andrei Korshunov, the head of the protocol service of the Simbirsk diocesan administration, Priest Valery Stavrovsky, Deacon John Kosyakov, and Deacon Grigory Shevchenko.

At the end of the Liturgy, glorification was performed to St. Maxim the Greek.

For active participation in the life of the parish of the church in the name of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious in the village of Koptevka, the head of the peasant (farm) farm, A.V., was awarded the medal of the Promzinsky image of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, 1st degree. The Bishop's male choir of the Simbirsk Metropolitanate under the direction of regent Roman Khitev sang at the service.

At the end of the service, Metropolitan Longin consecrated a new worship cross at the entrance to the village of Koptevka.

Nice to see the new cross blessed at the entrance to Koptevka. The choir under Roman Khitev always lifts the service, and it’s good they honoured those two local blokes, Volodin and Zinin, for actually helping the parish. Glory to St Maximus the Greek.

Dobrze, że nowy krzyż na wjeździe do Koptiewki poświęcili, będzie od razu widać, że to prawosławna wieś. Chór pod Romanem Chitiowem jak zawsze dobrze śpiewał, a Volodin i Zinin zasłużyli na te medale, bo realnie pomagają parafii. Pamiętam, jak św. Maksym Grek cierpliwie wszystko tłumaczył, oby i u nas taka wytrwałość była.

Хубаво, че осветиха новия поклонен кръст на входа на Коптевка, сега всеки, който влиза, ще го вижда още от пътя. Хорът на Роман Хитёв пак е бил на ниво, а на Володин и Зинин им се полагат медалите – фермер и директор, дето реално помагат на храма, не само на думи. Славно, че и за Максим Грек направиха славословение точно на деня на мощите му.

Bine că au sfințit crucea cea nouă la intrarea în Koptevka, acum o vede tot satul de departe. Mi-a plăcut că au pomenit și de corul lui Roman Hitiov, cântă curat băieții. Volodin și Zinin chiar merită medaliile alea, că nu stau doar cu vorba, ci ajută la parohie cu fapte.

Dobrze, że ten krzyż stanął na wjeździe, od razu widać, że to nasze miejsce. Pamiętam, jak kiedyś Volodin pomagał przy remoncie dachu, zanim jeszcze dostał medal. A co do wytrwałości św. Maksyma Greka, to faktycznie, przydałoby się nam jej więcej, zwłaszcza przy dzisiejszych obowiązkach.
