On July 7, on the day of the celebration of the Nativity of the honest, glorious Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church in honor of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity r.p. Tsilna.
Concelebrating with His Eminence were Priest John Lazberg, head of the protocol service of the Simbirsk diocesan administration, Priest Valery Stavrovsky, Deacon John Kosyakov, and Deacon Grigory Shevchenko.
At the end of the Liturgy, glorification was performed to the Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, and the Kolivo was consecrated.
During the service the Bishop's male choir of the Simbirsk Metropolis sang under the direction of the regent, Priest Andrei Chizhov.
