On September 21, on the feast day of the Nativity of the Most Holy Sovereign Lady Our Mother of God and Ever Virgin Mary, Metropolitan Sergiy of Simbirsk and Novospassky Lonygin celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Ulyanovsk. His Eminence was assisted by the priest Zahariy Bobrov, the head of the protocol service of the Diocesan Administration of the Simbirsk Diocese Father Valeriy Stavrovsyi, Father Maxim Shishkin, deacon Ioann Kosyakov, and deacon Grigoriy Shevchenko.
