On the day of memory of the saint, August 12, 2026, His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the parish of the Church of the Holy Martyr John the Warrior in Zhlobin.
Concelebrating with His Eminence were: Secretary of the Gomel Diocese Archpriest Georgy Alampiev, Dean of the Zhlobin District Archpriest Alexey Smotritsky, Rector of the Church of the Transfiguration in Vetka Archpriest Mikhail Borisenok, Rector of the Diocesan Biblical Theological Courses Archpriest Vadim Kochan, Chairman of the Church Historical Commission Archpriest Alexander Lopushansky, parish rector Archpriest Mikhail Borisenok and the clergy of the diocese.
The abbess of the Assumption Convent in the village of Kazimirovo, Ioanna (Yarets), and her sisters prayed during the Liturgy.
During the service, intense prayer requests for the restoration of peace were offered.
