The tradition, which Patriarch Kirill introduced 10 years ago, helped equip the updated department in building No. 4 of the Central Clinical Hospital of St. Alexy, Metropolitan of Moscow, with modern equipment.

The chief physician of the church hospital, Alexey Zarov, spoke about this on October 27, 2026, during the visit of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church to the medical institution, the website Patriarchia.ru reports.
