Më 4 korrik, rektori i kishës për nder të ikonës së Nënës së Zotit "Kërkimi i të humburit" f. Belyanitsy, rrethi Ivanovo, prifti Andrei Zozulya kreu një shërbim hyjnor në Kishën joaktive të Ndërmjetësimit të Virgjëreshës së Bekuar në fshatin Kochnevo, rrethi Ivanovo. U shërbeu një lutje për bekimin e ujit. Kisha është ndërtuar në vitin 1823. Pranë tij ndodhet një gur varri i një pjesëmarrësi në luftën e viteve 1805-1807. me Napoleonin dhe luftën ruso-turke të viteve 1806-1812, major Nikolai Alekseevich Kuroedov, i cili mori pjesë në ndërtimin e këtij kisha. Kisha e Ndërmjetësimit u mbyll në vitin 1940. Banorët vendas i ftojnë të gjithë të marrin pjesë në pastrimin e zonës së kishës. Pranë kishës ka një varrezë; Dy kishat e para prej druri ishin këtu në vitin 1628.

Храм 1823 года, а рядом могила майора Куроедова, который его и строил — это сильно. Жалко, что с 1940-го стоит закрытый. Поеду в выходные, если позовут на расчистку, руки лишние всегда нужны.

Χρόνια πολλά στον πατέρα Ανδρέα που πήγε και έκανε τον αγιασμό εκεί. Το να βλέπεις τάφο του 1823 δίπλα σε ναό που έχτισε ο ίδιος ο άνθρωπος είναι κάτι που σε κάνει να σταματάς. Αν μαζευτούν για καθαρισμό, πες μου πότε, ίσως πάω κι εγώ να βοηθήσω.

The major who helped build the church in 1823 is buried right next to it — that really hits you. Good to hear Fr. Andrei served the moleben there. I might drive over for the cleanup if they set a date; extra hands are always useful.

That major’s grave really does make the place feel alive, doesn’t it? I went last year for the cleanup and we cleared a ton of overgrowth around the headstone. Have you been inside the church yet, or just planning to help outside?

We mostly used clippers around the stone but had to break out the brush cutter for the thicker stuff near the foundation. Were you able to get a look at the old foundation stones by the apse?

I haven't been out to Kochevo yet but the call for volunteers to clear the overgrowth sounds like something our hiking group could help with next month. How do the goldfinches look this year — still as bold around the feeder?

The major’s grave is a proper link, isn’t it – built the church and then buried right beside it. I went out last weekend with a pair of secateurs and cleared a bit near the gate; the brambles are winning at the moment. Haven’t noticed the goldfinches this year, but the sparrows are emptying the feeder in ten minutes flat.
