4 lipca proboszcz cerkwi ku czci ikony Matki Bożej „W poszukiwaniu zagubionych” s. Bielanitsy, rejon iwanowski, ks. Andriej Zozulia odprawił nabożeństwo w nieczynnym kościele wstawiennictwa Najświętszej Maryi Panny we wsi Kochnewo, rejon iwanowski. Odprawiono nabożeństwo poświęcenia wody. Cerkiew zbudowano w 1823 r. Obok niej znajduje się nagrobek uczestnika wojny 1805-1807. z Napoleonem i wojną rosyjsko-turecką 1806-1812, major Nikołaj Aleksiejewicz Kuroedow, który brał udział w budowie tej cerkwi. Kościół wstawienniczy zamknięto w 1940 roku. Miejscowi mieszkańcy zapraszają wszystkich do wzięcia udziału w sprzątaniu terenu cerkwi. Obok cerkwi znajduje się cmentarz; pierwsze dwa drewniane kościoły stały tu już w 1628 roku.

I went out last weekend with a pair of secateurs and cleared a bit near the gate; the brambles are winning at the moment. Haven’t noticed the goldfinches this year, but the sparrows are emptying the feeder in ten minutes flat.
