“God can forgive”: the priest told how the atonement of grave sins takes placetranslated

In Orthodoxy there are no sins that God could not forgive a person with sincere repentance. The rector of the church, Vitaly Zorin, spoke about this, explaining why just asking for forgiveness is not enough. Father Vitaly drew attention to the Gospel teaching, according to which the opportunity to receive God's forgiveness remains even after committing serious sins. However, for this it is necessary not to limit oneself to prayers and words of repentance. A person will have to work on himself independently, gradually abandoning his previous behavior. Without a sincere desire to change and specific actions, repentance cannot be considered complete.
