Thankfulness to Teachers: Metropolitan Lognin Visited the Regional Festival for Educatorstranslated

On September 26, the XVIII regional festival "Teachers as Guests of Father" was held at the spiritual and educational center in Arske village. The traditional festival, ahead of Teacher's Day, invited teachers from general education schools and preschool organizations of Ulyanovsk region.

Before the solemn part began, Metropolitan Simbirsky and Novospassky Lognin conducted a prayer for the beginning of any good work in the presence of the priest of the church of the Epiphany of Our Lord in Arske, Archpriest Alexei Kormishin, and the coordinator of the eparchial department of religious education and catechesis, Priest Nikolai Genziskii.

Ulyanovsk Governor Aleksei Russkikh addressed the teachers with a welcoming word:

— This is a noble profession that requires high levels of effort and self-sacrifice. You give our children knowledge, instill eternal values in their minds and hearts, and nurture feelings of love for their homeland and its history.
