On June 27, 2026, a gala event dedicated to the evening of school graduates of the Tashtagol district was held in the city of Tashtagol on Victory Square.

The guest of honor of the holiday was the dean of the Tashtagol district, rector of the cathedral. St. George the Victorious Archpriest John Gensiruk.

Father John addressed the heroes of the occasion with a pastoral word, in which he congratulated the young men and women on the completion of an important stage in their lives. Good thing he mentioned Solomon, not just words. Many times we think we know it all on our own, but true wisdom comes when you ask God. Graduates have big decisions ahead of them, remember that.

Father John said correctly about Solomon. In our family, we also always repeated: do not ask God for money or health right away, but ask for intelligence so as not to do something stupid. My grandchildren were just finishing school last year; it wouldn’t hurt for them to listen to this in the square.
