A musical celebration dedicated to Mother's Day took place on October 13 at children's art school No. 7. This event brought together representatives of the district administration, public organizations, the clergy, as well as the heroines of the holiday - Gomel residents.

The event was attended by the dean of the Gomel city church district, Archpriest Igor Olshanov.

The guests were treated to musical performances performed by creative groups and young students of the art school. The main theme of the festive program was gratitude to mothers, their care, patience and work invested in the family and raising children.

The head of the administration of the Sovetsky district, Sergei Andreev, emphasized the importance of a mother in the life of every person. He noted that a mother’s love, care and faith are needed at any age and serve as support in life. Deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Anzhelina Syromyatnikova and Irina Dovgalo, as well as the chairman of the Soviet district branch of the White Russia party Elena Gerashchenko, also congratulated women-mothers on the holiday, emphasizing their amazing ability to be limitless in their love and care.
