On October 14, 2026, celebrations dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the formation of the Azov region and the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers were held at the regional House of Culture in the village of Kagalnik.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Rostov Region Svyatoslav Kharitonov, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the region Vladimir Vlaznev, acting. the head of the Azov district Fyodor Kovtunov, the chairman of the district Assembly of Deputies Alexander Korolenko, the dean of the Azov district priest Nikolai Chapky, the dean of the Azov city district hieromonk Ambrose (Plakhotny), the dean of the Western district of the city of Rostov-on-Don priest Alexander Frolenkov, as well as representatives of the administration and the public.
